CapturaTalk won Motto-Captura third prize in the Edison awards, Denmark’s prestigious competition for IT innovation. The contest is limited to companies that had been founded within the previous three years.

CapturaTalk won Motto-Captura third prize in the Edison awards, Denmark’s prestigious competition for IT innovation. CapturaTalk was the only mobile solution to be nominated. The contest is limited to companies that have been founded within the previous three years. First and second places went to companies that were in their third year of business, whereas Motto-Captura had only been operating for six months. The judges look for three things:

  1. The originality and appeal of the product or concept.
  2. The quality of both the product/concept and the accompanying business plan.
  3. The potential for the product/concept to be applied in many areas.

The panel noted that CapturaTalk was a unique solution combining the best aspects of mobile technology to assist people with dyslexia, that it had international potential, and that this product could have many applications outside the area of dyslexia. The nomination was an excellent showcase for CapturaTalk and excited a lot of press attention in Denmark.
