The CapturaTalk Partnership

iansyst Ltd was founded in 1983 in Cambridge to provide good value training and educational software. Since 1995 iansyst Ltd has established itself at the cutting edge of dyslexia awareness and disability support, and widened its portfolio to include assistive computer technology and a range of specialist consultancy services.

Iansyst also employ full-time staff based regionally in England and Scotland, including a dedicated team of trainers who can deliver training courses on-site across the UK. All our software and computer solutions are backed up by a dedicated telephone help-desk support team based in Cambridge.

Our existing customers are located in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, where we help students and parents, teaching professionals from primary school level right through to Universities, needs assessors, disabled individuals and, disability and HR teams working for companies who want to find assistive solutions for the workplace.

Motto-Captura Ltd was established in 2006, originally in order to market CapturaTalk, a product arising from an EU mobile-learning initiative that involved the company’s founders and partners. Motto-Captura Ltd has 5 specialised partners in Denmark. Motto-Captura Ltd design and develop mobile solutions for people with dyslexia and provide training and support to the company’s partners.


Iansyst Ltd Key Personnel


Ian Litterick

Executive Chairman and company founder. He has a degree from Oxford, a Diploma from LSE and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He is a member of the British Dyslexia Association’s New Technologies Committee (BDANTC) which exists to improve awareness of technological solutions to dyslexic difficulties. He represents the BDANTC on the Right to Read Campaign steering committee, which is lead by RNIB and promotes the accessibility needs of people with reading impairments.

Janine King

Head of Sales and Marketing. Janine is a Chartered Marketer with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Marketing Management. She leads our customer communications, business development and product management. Her previous experience includes working in the software technology sector, including developing customer user groups and leading consultation initiatives.

Neil Milliken

Business Unit Manager. Neil’s team provide an extensive service for our customers. Previously our Product Manager for Hardware and Speech Recognition, Neil is currently studying for his MBA part-time. Before joining us, Neil worked for various internet companies as a Music and Video Product Manager.

Flemming Ast

Chief Executive Officer and Head of Sales and Marketing. Flemming rose through the Enterprise Solutions Senior Management programme at Nokia, where he was appointed National Manager. Flemming is the inventor of the on-line Delta Bitmap synchronisation technology for databases.

John Kristensen

Chairman. John also brings a wealth of experience from Nokia, where he was Director. John has a Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing.


Iansyst Ltd and Motto-Captura were introduced by the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) Global Partnership programme

UK Trade & Investment is the lead government organisation supporting companies doing business internationally. To qualify for its Global Partnerships Programme companies must have a highly innovative technology or product to offer and there must be some potential for technology transfer.
